LOST fans losing sleep waiting for season four
London, UK (PRWEB) June 19, 2007 -- Fans of the hit TV show LOST have been pushing a button every 108 minutes day and night for over month, thanks to a spinoff website.
The website, www.EnterTheHatch.com, allows fans to recreate the experience of characters on the TV show LOST, who find themselves on a mysterious island after a plane crash.
In the show, the characters discover a hatch containing a timer and a computer, and find that they have to enter a code every 108 minutes to prevent disaster.
Fans on the website have reported leaving their computers on overnight so that they can listen for the alarm, and waking every 108 minutes to ensure the timer keeps running.
Hall of Fame leader, 'sanmania' said "I put my speakers way up on the computer and went to bed as normal. No one was resetting the countdown and I didn't hear it either. But then the final minute alarm blare came on and my eyes opened, I panicked, jumped out of bed and ran to the computer in the dark and entered the numbers with one eye shut and saved it with seconds to spare".
The timer has been running continuously for over a month so far, and fans are hopeful they can keep the timer going until Season 4 starts in 2008.
